It seems every time I buy a Remora holster, they are giving away a free accessory holder (a.k.a. magazine holder) with it. I’ve got so many of these things floating around, I decided to find another use for them. Remora calls it an Accessory Holder because you can use it for so much more than magazines. I’ve used them to hold knives (folders), pens, or flashlights IWB. However, they have another great use; They make great little IWB cell phone holders!

In each picture, I pulled the phone out a little, so you could see it. They will sit deeper if you want. Even if you don’t want to carry your phone IWB, they provide a lot of protection for the money. You can pop your phone in a front shirt pocket or pants pocket and forget about impacts. Toss it on the dash of the pickup and it stays put. It also cleans the screen a bit, each time you put it in. So, if you stick to a phone that is about 2.25″ to 2.75″ wide, it will fit great. That covers iPhones up to the 5s and most Blackberrys (does anyone but me still use one??). If you’ve got a tablet sized phone, good for you….but it won’t fit!
